Spaceship or lifepod

Yesterday while I was waiting for spacebus U73 to get back to my dumpsite. This strange Old Jedi came to me and start talking with me.

"Young guy, nowadays everything in life is so expensive. It is better to just use public transport and save some money" said Old Jedi.

"Yes, the only thing that haven't raise so much in life is basically the salary" said CRT.

"Raise? Raise already also no use. Everything is so expensive now. If you got your own spaceship, you need to pay for the petrol, parkings, spaceship loans." said Old Jedi.

"Ohh, somemore every year still need to pay for the spacetax!" said CRT

"Spacetax still ok ahh! Most expensive is when your spaceship spoil already like when the hyperspace engine not working anymore. Then you need to pay alot to repair it." said Old Jedi.

"That why sometimes I think is better to invest in a lifepod." said CRT

"Wow, you are damn smart despite you have a CRT head! Spaceship always a liability, but lifepod is an asset." said Old Jedi.

At this point, I want to reply the old Jedi but I didn't. From my view, If you take a bank loan to pay for the lifepod. As long as the loan is not clear, the lifepod is still a liability to you. You won't know one day you might run out of money and can't pay the lifepod loan. Then the bank will happily take your lovely lifepod away from you.
